Funding Sources : As soon as I completed my postdoctoral studies (2010), I accepted a position as Director of Biotechnology, Innovation, and Technology Development at the Cardiovascular Foundation of Colombia in Bucaramanga, Colombia. They offered me a generous hiring package to establish myself and my lab. Now, back home in Puerto Rico, I serve as the Director of the Research Institute of the Puerto Rico Science, Technology, and Research Trust.
