Funding Sources : When I came back to Mexico I did not have international funding, neither start up funding, only the laboratory space. Once I started my position, I started seeking for funding, so far I have obtained one national fund from CONAHCyT (the Mexican funding agency), I have obtained two intramural funding (PAPIIT) from UNAM, and I currently have three international grants that I obtained during 2024 and 2025. One is the ASH Global Research Award (AGRA) 2024, the Fanconi Cancer Foundation (FCF) Research Grant Award (RGA) 2024 and the Team Telomere/Million Dollar Bike Ride (MDBR) 2024.
